Review
Kruptos 2 3.0 is a 256 bit file encryption utility to secure any sensitive file.
Kruptos 2 includes a file shredding utility, and the ability to generate self decrypting files.
Kruptos 2 integrates into Windows Explorer´s contextual menu.
When you open Kruptos 2 3.0, you can start a new project going to File/New Project. You will then have to choose a name for the .ecl file that will be created and saved.
Then, you can choose every file or folder that you wish to include in the package.
At this point, you can encrypt each file individually, setting a password to access its content. You can include a hint to help you remember the password should you forget it.
You can remove, delete, shred or add file to the project.
Once you have selected every component of your project, you can build a self-extracting .EXE file, that will contain all the files you included, plus the code needed to extract them, secured under a password.
When you set the password the program will tell you if it´s weak or fair. |
